Get to Know Board Member Erin R. Moody

In February of 2016, shortly after her move to the NWA area, Erin attended her first Dream Big Gala committee meeting with a friend who had brought her along. The Dream Big Charity Gala is the largest event that the CSC throws, with a circus theme, this is known as the most fun event in NWA with the most special cause!

After just one meeting, Erin immediately knew, “I wanted to support that”. Erin relocated from New York to Fayetteville, and in every place she’s lived she has made it a point to be involved with a local nonprofit. Erin and her husband, Josh, have been substantial supporters for over 5 years! They both continue to serve on the Dream Big committee.

Her media background, with a minor in film in college and in her current role at Warner Media, allowed her to play a vital role in the virtual Dream Big Gala held in 2020 and 2021. Due to the pandemic, the Dream Big Gala has been held virtually for the last two years and, without Erin’s help, the event would not have made the seamless transition it did. You can watch Erin’s work from the past two years on the CSC’s YouTube!

One of Erin’s favorite things about being a board member is the Mission Moment shared by a different team member at each meeting; these moments remain her greatest motivator as they remind her of the hope and healing that the CSC is able to provide children!
